Shandong Province Economic and Trade Delegation Visited Sri Lanka, Indonesia and the Philippines

        To actively participate "The Belt and Road" construction, deepen the foreign contracted projects, drive export, international capacity and infrastructure construction, overseas park construction, foreign trade import and export, and other fields, on September 17, 2019 -26, Zhang Xingcheng, deputy director-general of Department of Commerce of Shandong Province,  led a delegation to Philippines, Indonesia and the Sri Lanka.
        During the visit, they held working talks with Nihal, deputy minister of the Ministry of Megapolis & Western Development of Sri Lanka, Jagas, director-general of the Urban Development Authority of Sri Lanka, Edith Anto, acting governor of Riau Archipelago, Indonesia, Ali, director-general of the Manufacturing Industry Promotion Bureau of Indonesia Investment Coordination Committee, and Angelica, section chief of Philippine National Investment Agency. And they reached a series of consensus on strengthening cooperation in infrastructure construction, industrial investment, overseas park construction, import and export trade, etc.

 Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka, Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneur Association and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, they held economic and trade cooperation matchmaking meetings respectively. More than 100 enterprises attended the meetings and reached a number of cooperation intentions. The delegation investigated the key cooperation projects and overseas enterprises, such as the Sri Lanka National Grand Theater Project of Yanjian Group, Alumina Industrial Park Project in Riau Archipelago, Indonesia of Nanshan Group, Ferronickel Industrial Park Project of Sulawesi Indonesia of Qingdao Zhongzi Zhongcheng Group, the Indonesia company of POWERCHINA Nuclear Engineering Company, and the Philippines company of Qingjian Group. They put forward opinions and suggestions on grasp "The Belt and Road" cooperation opportunities, deepen cooperation, build bright spot projects for infrastructure cooperation, build cooperation platform for overseas parks, accelerate localized operation, establish a brand image and cultivate transnational corporations from Shandong. They had exchanges with relevant principals of Colombo Branch, Jakarta Branch of Bank of China, BDO Bank of the Philippines, etc., and expanded financing channels for overseas enterprises.
