Shandong Province Economic and Trade Delegation Visited Japan, South Korea and Thailand

        From November 14 to 23, 2018, Lyu Wei,deputy director-general led a delegation to visit Japan, South Korea and Thailand. They attended the 17th Pan-yellow Sea China, Japan and South Korea Economic and Technological Exchange Conference held in Qunshan City, South Korea, and issued the cooperation proposal of "Strengthening Cross-Border e-Commerce Cooperation and Building a New Engine of China, Japan and South Korea Connectivity" at the plenary meeting. They held working talks with Japan-China Economic Relations & Trade Centre, Japan China Association on Economy & Trade and Japan Management Association on the preparation of the 21st Osaka Shandong Exhibition and the participation of Shandong of Tokyo Food and Beverage Exhibition in 2019.They held working talks with ITOCHU Corporation about cooperation in cold chain logistics, third-party market, service trade and other fields.
        They held working talks with Federation of Core Enterprises of South Korea on jointly holding economic and trade promotion activities and practically promoting cooperation among enterprises. They visited Osaka Sharp Corporation to investigate the sharp panel production line project, visited South Korea's new Wanjin Industrial Park to understand the park's construction and development planning and industrial policies and visited Kobe medical industry city and Yonsei University Health System to investigated the development of high-end medical facilities and services in Japan and South Korea. In Chiang Mai, Thailand, the commencement ceremony of Sino Thailand agricultural machinery after-sales service center project was held, which was cooperated by Shandong Wuzheng Group and Thailand Agricultural Technology Development Foundation.
        During the visit to the three countries, the delegation also exchanged views and suggestions with minister Song Yaoming, minister-counsellor Gu Jinsheng, and counsellor Zhang Peidong of Economic Commercial Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Japan, South Korea and Thailand respectively and Ren Yisheng, consul general of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai, and listened to the views and suggestions of strengthening economic and trade cooperation with the three countries.——Article source: Shandong International Business Network
